Clifton Springs Suburb and Real Estate Information

Clifton Springs is located 20 km east of Geelong, 3 km from Drysdale and mid-way between Leopold and Portarlington. For years, the therapeutic properties of the mineral springs at Clifton Springs attracted throngs of day-visitors and retirees seeking a picturesque seachange destination. Today, Clifton Springs is essentially a residential community overlooking Port Phillip Bay. The town is experiencing rapid new home development, particularly on its beachside.

Clifton Springs has its own primary school. It also offers a healthy lifestyle with the choice of sports (including golf at a Par 71 public course which is a wonderful attraction to retirees); beaches nearby and superb bike riding trails and cliff-top walks are also a major draw card, including boating and fishing heading out the local boat harbour. Add to this list of local amenities a number of tennis courts, picnic areas and a winery close by, many would say that Clifton Springs is their Shangrila! Shopping can be done in neighbouring Drysdale or Geelong.
